Need a lift?

No!
Do it yourself!

I try not to spread the bad mood, but I hate silly, empty-head, full-of-laziness human beings!

Moooooooove!

Workaholic #2

There are times when I cannot separate work from personal life. Twice! How could I? How could anyone – who is deeply committed to his/her own work – disconnect?

There is no switch on/off. You look outside and see triggers of brainstorms that eventually lead to a great idea. All that colour. All that… wait a minute! Yes, that’s it! Life starts gradually. It isn’t math we are dealing with here. It’s life! Thus, a biologist will never be able to either see 0’s or 1’s.

There is so much more out there, yet so simple, it hurts!

And I miss it, just like the deserts miss the rain...

Run them up

Rush to your local food store and get some fresh runner beans!

As usual, the Eat the Seasons website launches recipes with the seasonal food of the week.

I would argue that any bean fits perfectly well with a salad.
I am hoping for some good-old-times-sake fishing tomorrow. Cross your fingers!

The basis of life

- Can you please define a bloom?
- Eeerrrr…

Yes, that’s it, folks. I am trying to define a bloom based on daily, 100 Km resolution, satellite data. Think about it and let me know a.s.a.p.!

Life-centered roots

I will never forget my roots, but Copenhagen is definitely a great place to live.

I love cycling!
It gives me so much pleasure, and I am all about pleasure seeking.

A grain, a green, and a bean + one more

This is no rocket science, but it Is quite obvious – one of those things you won’t miss, unless you are a single-life goal person. What I mean is that this is pretty straight-forward.

A grain, a green and a bean. Read more about this here. A grain, a green and a bean, as opposed to “the not so good, the possibly equally bad, and the extremely ugly” concept.

A grain, a green, and a bean – have you had your share of these today? I would add a seed. I eat so many seeds per day, you wouldn’t believe.

A grain, a green, and a bean: that’s all you need for a perfect, and nutritionally complete meal. Even if you don’t fancy vegetarianism, you may base your food plans on these components (a grain, a green, a bean, and a seed), and you are ready to go. Come on, if the athletes can do it, why can’t you?

The lion sleeps tonight

While I am quite awake.

No more coffee, please!

Then my vision gets all blurred and I don’t perform as well as I am capable of.

9.7.12

(re)order

Up and down.
Forwards and backwards.
Right and left.

Disregarding in which direction you are aiming at, shoot high enough. If you end up shooting farther than your target, that’s ok. Do not fear the unknown. Do not be afraid of success.

3.7.12

Cherry on top

Food markets. I love them.

The smell of fresh, whole foods just blows my senses.

Worse case scenario: I end up buying more than I need. Then I just spend ages in the kitchen, which I do not mind at all.

All the rest is left behind, but that’s ok. With enough patience and effort, I manage all my tasks.

Markets and restaurants. I keep trying new food concepts all the time. I just need this constant inspirational source. Plus an extra dose of food habits awareness. Until everything is perfectly clear and comes naturally.

20.6.12

Analogue vs digital

Shoot analogue!
You won’t regret it.

Look how cool it could have been in this one.

Regardless to say that I inherit a very neat camera, which is pushing my limits. I am crazy in love with it. Here are some reasons why.

I am an amateur, I am quite aware of it. No worries!

The God I See - Part I

Imagine this wall of worship. A place where all believers can go and do their thing. Worship it is.

I have a thing for churches. Cathedrals. Chapels. Catholics are common within Latin countries. Not my fault! Then here, up North - where the Vikings were spreading their magic - I encountered a somehow different approach. I started noticing that places of worship were not as gold as in Catholic churches. They were milder. Straight-forward (or backward…you never know when it comes to religion).

From outside, they do not certainly look like churches, but castles. Usually called stave churches. The tower is build in a strategic position and looks like it was used for defence. I wonder if they were fighting for their believes somewhere in history.

Space limitation

I hope I have some space when I go back. Satellite images are way too large to be dealt like this.

365 challenges

I have recently received a huge pack of inspiration. It is heavy and full of new ideas. One for each day of the year. Am I up to it?

Sure I am. I will rise to the challenge. Not so ambitious though. Giving that I already involved in too many projects, I will take this one at my own pace. And maybe skip the meat stuff, at least when I am just cooking for myself.

Thank you for this new push!

Wind-proof walls

Some coastal regions are known for their constantly blowing wind.

Advantage: adds some movement to “still life”.

3.6.12

Fear of the unknown

Honestly? I seldom feel it. I wonder why.

24.5.12

No turning-back

The food is amazingly good. I feel healthier than ever.

What else?

CC + NA

Great achievements are made by great minds. Now, we just need to keep on track.

What a productive period, I must say. 4 weeks, non-stop!

5.5.12

Enlightening

4 months, some stress, a huge mistake, and the perfect outcome.

What’s left behind? Some data to analyze. I dream with the day I get to see the results.

17.4.12

“Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost”

We are lost anyway. The point is that if we all dance our bodies out, we will definitely be happier.

Try it! The body works, the mind follows. Or is it the other way around? Sigh. This is exactly what I love in dance.
